We have teamed up with mortgage experts to offer free educational events to home hunters across the country

Affordability is high on the agenda for every home hunter, now more so than ever. We have responded by teaming up with Mortgage Advice Bureau to offer a series of free educational sessions, which will help customers across the country to make smart decisions and kick start their home buying journey.
Experts from Mortgage Advice Bureau will host virtual ‘Get you moving’ events between Monday 7th June – Saturday 12th June, and then again from Monday 5th July – Saturday 10th July.

Those registered to attend can book an hour-long, one-on-one session with a dedicated specialist, to delve deeper into any burning questions and receive guidance tailored to your unique situation. With spaces limited, we have set up an online calendar of available slots, so that you can book your session at a time that suits you.

Whether you are a first-time buyer, looking to move up the property ladder, or interested in downsizing, you will be given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Experts from Mortgage Advice Bureau will also advise you on how to make the most of our current offers, including our own Stamp Duty holiday extension, the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, as well as our Part Exchange incentives and our brand new £5,000 Deposit Boost deal.

“There’s an awful lot to think about when buying a new home but one of the most common worries is ‘Can I afford this?’

“We truly believe that the best mortgage advice will always come from a direct interaction with a customer, once we’ve had the chance to understand their specific goals and needs. For the Get you moving events, our experts will review your circumstances and questions, before offering advice to help you get the very most out of your home buying journey.”

Helen Pierson, Director at Mortgage Advice Bureau

Joanne Winston, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes said: “Buying a new home is one of the most exciting life events but, inevitably, it also brings an element of uncertainty.

“We noticed that many of our customers are looking for guidance when it comes to selecting and purchasing a home, especially related to the financial side of things. By having the chance to speak directly to the mortgage experts, we know our customers will be able to make informed choices and, as a result, they will have a better experience all round.

“Spaces are limited, so I’d urge those interested to book their place as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment.”
