I have bought a house from St Modwen at the Fairways Development at Stafford. I am a first time buyer and I was a bit cautious with what my new house and customer service would be. The built quality proved to be above my expectations – some minor fixes had been noticed while doing the snagging list and after few months living in the house but the developer, under their 2 year warranty period that they offer, was happy to resolve all issues (many thanks to Gemma and the rest of the team). Everyone, from the selling hub (especially Julie) to the customer service was super kind and helpful with my enquiries. I am recommending them to anyone looking for a new house.

Moved onto The Fairways as a first time buyer in March 2022 and I would highly recommend St Modwen homes to anyone!

Julie and Rachel from sales were exceptional from the outset with keeping us informed and up to date with progress, which was so reassuring (especially with the stress of buying a house and moving).

We’ve now had the keys for almost 11 months, and while the quality of build has been excellent, any issue we had both Stuart and Gemma from site have both gone above and beyond to not only resolve, but also providing support when we needed it (such as drilling holes for dishwasher etc).

Knowing most other developers simply pass you on to the sales team post completion, the support both on site and externally from St Modwen has been so refreshing.

Communication and professionalism has been excellent from the moment we expressed an interest in purchasing on this development. Gemma and Stuart have been so easy to contact and responsive in sorting out any snags once we moved in. Gemma gave us a clear, informative show around prior to the move date which was really helpful. Re St Modwens Homes, Fairways Stafford. We purchased our 5 bed home in September 2022 and have had a lovely experience with the sales team (Rachel / Julie), Site Manager Stuart and Customer Service Manager David. In terms of snags, which are expected in a new build – we have had nothing major and any small issues have been dealt with promptly and sorted within a decent time frame and to a good standard – also nothing that would put you off buying a new home! We are really pleased with our new home and the service offered to date. Customer service always responds to emails and timeframes are adhered to – it is a shame to read some of the other reviews saying this is different for them at other sites. Having spoken to other familes on the site, they have had a similar exprience to us (so perhaps the negative review are site specific?). The Site Manager Stuart has been fantastic in his approach of not forgetting customers who moved in six months ago, rather than just focusing on people just moving in. Our Customer Service Manager David is always happy to touch base and ensure we are still happy six months in! As is Courtney in the Customer Service Team who we deal with via email. My only advice would be for any snag touch ups, request St Modwens own experienced technicians, rather than the outsourced technicians! Overall, a very safe and concious house builder, who values customer service.
