NHS couple find their dream home next to Lickey Hills
Searching for a countryside lifestyle, local NHS Therapy Radiographer Vicki Bridges, 32, and Occupational Therapist Nicola Moss, 30, decided it was time to take a step up from their old apartment in Bournville.
The couple was instantly drawn in by the contemporary style of properties at Cofton Grange and fell in love with the site’s prime location.
Vicki said: “One of the main reasons Nicola and I initially considered moving to Cofton Grange was that it’s right around the corner from the stunning Lickey Hill Country Park. We visited three other sites in the area but St. Modwen Homes surpassed them all. Their homes are not only more unique but come with taller ceilings and larger windows, making them feel extra spacious.
“As two full-time NHS workers that also run a small business on the side, our time outside of work is pretty limited. This was one of the main reasons Nicola and I wanted a new build property, as essentially everything is already done apart from the interior design, which is perfect!
Nicola added: “The three-bedroom Houghton house type ticked every box. The open plan living area is fantastic, while the utility room and downstairs toilet are both so handy. We are also big fans of modern tech, so the ring doorbell and nest heating system are great additions to our new home.
“We also love that St. Modwen Homes promote biodiversity by offering special features in their homes, such as hedgehog highways – it’s lovely to see!”
Commenting on their buying experience, Vicki continued: “As we are both key workers, we were eligible for a bespoke deal and received free standard flooring and a percentage contribution towards stamp duty. It’s been such a difficult year for all of us, but this definitely made us feel appreciated by St. Modwen Homes.
