Family of four find their dream home in Blythe Bridge using Help to Buy
Earlier this year, first-time buyers Emma, 32, and Chris Leese, 31, decided it was finally time to find a home that they and their children Kayla, 7 and Georgia, 2, could call their own.
By using the Help to Buy scheme, the family found that they were able to afford their perfect four-bedroom home at Blythe Fields. Regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic, they picked up their keys in July 2020.
Emma said: “Chris and I had looked around quite a few properties in the Blythe Bridge area, both old and new, but we kept coming back to St. Modwen Homes. They also offered so much more than other developers so we felt like we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to buy at Blythe Fields, Staffordshire.
“The four-bedroom Paris house type caught our eye straight away – it is so unique! It’s set across three floors and all four bedrooms are doubles, which is hard to find. We turned one of the bedrooms into a dressing room that also doubles up as an office, which is perfect as we are now both working from home.”
Chris added: “The location was another big plus for us. Our previous home was just down the road and Emma’s family all live nearby, so it’s a win-win situation. The development is also well-connected with major roads, such as the A50, so we can easily get to the M6 or the M1 if we want to see my family in London.
Emma continues: “The customer service we received was absolutely brilliant. Considering we went through the entire process during the pandemic, the sales team really put us at ease and made it straightforward. As first-time buyers, we didn’t really know what to expect but it has turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made!”
