Craving more space, Dionne Buckley and her partner Mark, both 31, along with their two children Jackson, 6, and Charlie, 5, wanted to upgrade their home without moving too far away.
The couple fell in love with the style of properties at Blythe Fields and moved into the Barlow house type in July 2020, even though their previous home was still up for sale.
Dionne said: “If it wasn’t for St. Modwen Homes’ Part Exchange Max scheme, none of this would have been possible. The scheme really took away the stress of moving and meant we were settled into our new home, five weeks before our old home was even sold. We also didn’t have to pay any agent fees and our removal costs were sorted, which is amazing!
“We were looking for a new build home for quite some time, but we just couldn’t find anything that we liked. The four-bedroom Barlow house type instantly caught our attention. We took a trip to Egstow Park in Chesterfield so that we could have a look around the show home and we loved it as soon as we walked in.”
Mark added: “Moving to Blythe Fields was a win-win situation for us. Not only do Jackson and Charlie get to stay at their current school, but we also have family that live nearby.
“The downstairs layout of the open-plan Barlow really sold the home to us. It’s a very family orientated space, where we can all relax together. We also love the height of the windows in the master bedroom – they let in so much natural light!
Dionne continues: “The sales team at St. Modwen Homes have all been fantastic from the start. They kept us informed as much as possible and updated us regularly. We couldn’t be happier!”
