Making the right choice
“We looked at a range of three bedroom new-build homes within our price range as first-time buyers who were using the Help To Buy scheme which was available at the time.
“We spent some time researching housebuilders and liked the reviews which we saw regarding St. Modwen Homes, so began to look into their products and soon found the Mirin which had everything on our list! We liked the fact that it had a hallway as well as an open-plan design that still provided enough storage space for the two of us.”

Emily saw the new-build Mirin as a chance to put her own character and taste on a property from start to finish. She said: “For our first home we wanted to be able to walk into a blank canvas that was ready for us to decorate and furnish how we wanted.”

“We received a number of updates throughout the building stage which was great to receive and we were also able to visit the sales office multiple times to choose our options and upgrades.
“Our reservation also included flooring throughout the house and £1000 towards legal fees. After meeting with our sales consultant, we opted to upgrade our kitchen cupboard doors and sink as well as adding an integrated dishwasher and fridge as little touches to upgrade the space.”
