Vote for us in the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2019!

The red carpet is being rolled out and the trophies polished as awards season kicks into full swing! We’re hoping to be among this year’s winners after being nominated for not one, but two awards, at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2019.

We’ve been shortlisted for Best Urban Regeneration for Cofton Grange in Longbridge and Best Development in the North for Egstow Park in Chesterfield, but who wins is up to you!

These awards are entirely decided by First Time Buyer magazine readers, so if you’ve found your dream home with us, or know someone who has, we’d love it if you could vote for us – it only takes a few minutes and every vote counts.

The First Time Buyer Awards are some of the most acclaimed in the industry, recognising and celebrating schemes across the country that help aspirational buyers looking for a high quality home to take their first step onto the property ladder.

At Egstow Park, 64% of our new homeowners are first time buyers with 100% stating they would happily recommend a St. Modwen Home to family and friends. Similarly, at Cofton Grange, our fastest selling development to date, 42% of purchasers were first time buyers.

Both developments offer stylish, high quality new homes, and are also part of St. Modwen’s larger regeneration schemes, which are transforming areas into thriving new communities.

Cofton Grange is part of the wider £1 billion regeneration of the former MG Rover site in Longbridge, which collapsed in 2005, resulting in the direct loss of 6,500 jobs. Today, Longbridge is a thriving new community. The new development has seen the re-emergence of a 155-metre stretch of the River Rea, new public green spaces with play areas, as well as the delivery of a new £1 million community centre for local residents.

Egstow Park forms part of St. Modwen’s larger regeneration at Clay Cross in Chesterfield, which is transforming the former Bi-water industrial site into a brand new community. Once complete, it will deliver new homes, new shops, children’s play area and plenty of open green space for residents to enjoy. There is also a brand new 1,900 sq. ft. sports pavilion and local sports facilities on-site, as well as a new Marston’s family pub and restaurant.
