After a long period of inactivity on the plot of land behind St. Anne’s Church in Digbeth, the new developer of the site, St. Modwen Homes, has commenced with enabling works to prepare for construction in November.
St. Modwen Homes purchased the 1.19-acre land, known as St. Anne’s Court, at the start of the year and committed to complete the delivery of the original residential scheme that ground to a halt nearly two years ago.
While the overall concept will remain the same, the housebuilder has proposed some enhancements to the design to bring its signature St. Modwen Homes style to the scheme.
When finished, the residential building will be home to an intended array of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, a small number of exclusive penthouse suites, as well as a communal rooftop terrace with spectacular views across Birmingham city centre.
