NHS couple find their dream home with our key worker incentive

A couple who work for the NHS have found their dream home thanks to our bespoke key worker incentive. NHS therapy radiographer, Vicki Bridges, and occupational therapist, Nicola Moss, said the support they have received has helped them feel appreciated after a tough year.

Our key workers are still leading the fight against Covid-19 and continually go above and beyond to keep us all safe. Therefore, we want to show our gratitude by giving them bespoke offers on our new homes. Since we launched these offers in 2020, we’ve already helped a huge number of key workers to secure their dream home.

Nicola and Vicki decided the time was right to move out of their apartment in Bournville to somewhere more rural and found the perfect home near Lickey Hills Country Park.

“It’s been such a difficult year for all of us, but this definitely made us feel appreciated by St. Modwen Homes,” said Vicki. “As two full-time NHS workers that also run a small business on the side, our time outside of work is pretty limited. “This was one of the main reasons Nicola and I wanted a new-build property, as essentially everything is already done, apart from the interior design, which is perfect.”

How the key worker scheme works:

Each key worker offer is tailor-made to suit the individual preferences of our customers, making it extremely versatile. Key workers can choose a contribution towards home enhancements, such as flooring and kitchen upgrades or support with legal fees and moving costs.

Who is eligible?

Anyone who is considered to work in critical or essential industries could qualify.

This includes the NHS, health and social care, transport, government, public safety, utilities, education and childcare, public services, supermarkets and other necessary goods.
