Christmas comes early for a family of four with our £100,000 prize

Dursley-based couple, David Llewellyn and Jessica Maw, have won a life-changing prize of £100,000 off their mortgage thanks to our Recommend a Friend competition.

Following unprecedented times, we wanted to give something back to our customers. To enter, existing St. Modwen Homes homeowners simply had to refer a friend, and once they had legally completed, both parties received £250 and were entered into the national prize draw. On the 8^th December, the winner was randomly selected. From there, the team here at St. Modwen Homes got everything in order to go and greet the winner on their doorstep with the exciting news.

On the morning of the 11^th December, David and Jessica (and their two young sons), who live at the Littlecombe development in Dursley, were surprised by a visit from the St. Modwen Homes team and former Love Islander, Olivia Bowen, revealing them as the official winner of the competition.

David, who recommended a friend back in December 2020 commented:

“My partner and I are absolutely speechless. There really is no way to put into words what this money will do for us – it really will change our lives.

“The St. Modwen Homes Recommend a Friend competition has been so exciting, but we never thought we would be the winners. I will never forget that feeling opening the door that morning and seeing the team on the other side. We are extremely grateful. We’ve lived in our home with our two young sons for the past three years and we absolutely love it. This really is the icing on the cake of our St. Modwen Homes journey.”
