St. Modwen Homes is pleased to be restarting phased levels of housebuilding activity on a select number of sites in line with the latest guidance from the Government, Public Health England and Public Health Wales. Our priority remains the safety of our people, our partners and supply chain, our customers and the wider communities we serve.
We are observing and exceeding strict sector operating practises, including those from the Construction Leadership Council, to further ensure the health and safety of our site teams. We have prepared sites to allow for strict social distancing, such as clear floor markings, limiting access to the inside of homes and setting stringent procedures around the use of common areas. We have appointed Covid 19 Supervisors for each site and have enhanced PPE requirements for the limited amount tasks that require closer proximity working. We are educating, updating and enforcing the rules with our own employees and all third parties on site as we take a zero-tolerance approach to site safety.
