For our team, the most memorable are those at Stillwater at Glan Llyn, in Newport. Whilst The Becket and The Hexham are both four-bedroom family homes, we found their internal layouts offered plenty of flexibility for us to showcase something different.

“For instance, in the Hexham townhouse at Glan Llyn, there’s an integral garage, so we created an almost self-contained suite on the ground floor, styling the room adjacent to the utility as a bedroom for a student returning from university. We then turned the utility itself into a mini kitchenette. Similarly in The Hiero, we were able to transform the open plan kitchen/dining/living spaces into individually distinctive areas by adding different wallpaper and wall treatments.

“In both properties, we used popular colours such as emerald green, mustard and terracotta alongside mixed metallics of gold and chrome – not something we’d typically do but we felt that this provided the perfect contrast against bold colours. We also had some fun expressing personality and playfulness in the children’s bedrooms – house hunters can’t miss the tractor or VW camper van beds!”
