Local Stoke-on-Trent cricket club benefits from donation

We have joined forces with Barlaston Cricket Club, based near Stoke-on-Trent, by donating a generous £650 to the team.

The brand-new partnership has provided the club with the opportunity to live stream all their games (including junior games) online.

These games are linked to the Play-Cricket website – run by the English Cricket Board, which provides live score details and highlights. The club can only afford this service through sponsorship.

Not only will this help to improve the club’s spectator experience, but the collaboration is especially beneficial for parents and family wanting to watch the game from the comfort of their own homes! And the hope is that the sponsorship will attract more people to get involved and watch the games.

Barlaston Cricket Club provides excellent facilities for all cricket enthusiasts, or for those who simply want to feel part of the local community. It has a flourishing junior section with boys’ and girls’ teams from ages 8 – 16, as well as 4 senior teams and a successful ladies’ team. This creates a friendly, sociable, and inclusive environment which has become an asset to the local village, as well as the wider Stoke-on-Trent community.
