Planning permission secured for the final phase in Newton-Le-Willows

St. Modwen Homes, the dedicated housebuilding arm of developer St. Modwen, has secured planning approval from St. Helens Council for 89 homes as part of the 4th and final phase of its Tayleur Leas development in Newton-le-Willows.

A comprehensive mix of two, three and four-bed dwellings will be built in the housebuilders signature contemporary style – with tall windows and high ceilings, on a 5.5-acre site to the east of Wargrave Road.

Part of the wider 630-home outline planning application that was submitted in 2003 on the site of the former Vulcan Works factory, the final phase offers the last opportunity for homeowners to secure a new-build home on the development.

St. Modwen Homes is currently proceeding with construction on the 3rd phase and will move on to the 4^th phase with a new sales arena and showhomes soon.
