Public invited to have their say on new Brimscombe Port development

As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering quality places to live and work, we have recently shared an exciting initial proposal for plans relating to the redevelopment of the Briscombe Port site in the Stroud district.

St. Modwen Homes has been chosen by Stroud District Council to deliver this regeneration project, with the initial proposals setting out a new waterside community with 144 new high-quality homes designed to the highest standard.

Now, local stakeholders and residents are being invited to have their say on the proposed plans for the redevelopment plans, here. Within that page, people can submit their comments and feedback on the proposal via an online form, alternatively you can email brimscombeportconsultation@stmodwen.co.uk

This proposed new site will deliver Stroud District Council’s vision for a thriving mixed-use community which supports local businesses and caters to the needs of both existing and future residents, creating an inspiring place to live, work and play.

All comments and feedback on these proposed plans are welcomed by the cut-off of Friday 17th January 2025, so that these can be considered and worked into the plans before submission of a planning application in Spring 2025.
