How does the Consumer Code look after the home buyer?
The Consumer Code, formed by a number of home warranty bodies requires all Home Builders to follow and adhere to the guidelines, which ensure that home buyers are guaranteed an agreed level of service.
The Code is to ensure that home buyers:
- Are treated fairly
- Know what service levels to expect
- Are given reliable information upon which to make their decisions
- Know how to access speedy, low-cost dispute-resolution arrangements if they are dissatisfied.
