It all came down to the spacious design for Tony and Sharon Burton who were the first people to move into a new home at Bramshall Meadows, located in the rural countryside of Bramshall, less than two miles from the centre of Uttoxeter. Tony explains why he chose St. Modwen Homes…
“We started searching for a new house about eight months ago as the commute from Stoke-on-Trent (where we previously lived) to Nottingham (where my business is) meant that I wasn’t getting to spend as much time at home as I’d like. We’d looked around a dozen older homes but each of them seemed limited on space. That’s what stood out to us most when we first visited Bramshall Meadows; just how spacious all of the rooms were.
“There has been a real lack of new build developments in the local area so when we saw that work was starting on Bramshall Meadows it came as a welcome relief. We went to the first open day and were so impressed with the Garnet Showhome, especially the vaulted ceiling in the hallway and the large central window that we knew it was worth going slightly over our initial budget for.
“This is the first new-build house we will have purchased as, previously, we’ve always lived in second-hand properties. We found that Bramshall Meadows still had the character we were looking for though, especially with the mix of materials used on the outside of the house. It didn’t feel overlooked either which is what we’d come to expect from other new build developments.
“We were shown the plans for the overall development too and, thanks to the open green spaces and varying house types, it looks like it’s going to be a really attractive place to live.
“The team at St. Modwen Homes worked with us throughout the process and we’d be happy to recommend the housebuilder to anyone looking for a new home around Uttoxeter.”
