The first homeowners to move into Weogoran Park, Chris, and Georgina Cartwright, along with their three-year-old daughter Hayley, couldn’t be happier with their new three-bedroom detached Webster home.
“We had a property to sell and, after speaking to the Sales Team, decided to use Assisted Move to buy our new home. We hadn’t heard about the scheme before but having St. Modwen Homes manage the sale of our existing property for us, working with a local estate agent, made the whole process a lot less stressful and meant we got a fair price and didn’t have to pay any estate agent fees. As well as using Assisted Move we also found out we were also eligible for Help to Buy which meant we only needed a 5% deposit to secure our new home.
“One of the main things we were looking for when we decided to move was a bigger kitchen, with enough space for us to sit down and eat together as a family, and that’s exactly what we’ve got – there’s even a separate laundry room. Having French doors leading to the garden from the kitchen and living room also makes it easy for us to keep an eye on Hayley when she’s playing in the garden – she loves being outside and watching the diggers.
“In terms of location, Weogoran Park ticked all the boxes for us; it’s in the right catchment area for a great choice of schools for Hayley and, being so close to Worcester city centre, we can both walk to work, which isn’t a bad commute!”
